It presents the principal popular resistances and uprisings that took place across different regions of Algeria, as well as the role played by resistance leaders and local populations in confronting the occupation and defending their land, identity and national sovereignty.

The space also highlights examples of the bravery and sacrifices of the Algerian people, and their courage and steadfastness in the face of French colonial military campaigns, despite the disparity in resources and military capabilities.

The documents, photographs and historical artefacts displayed in this space bear witness to the deeply rooted spirit of resistance within Algerian society and to the continuity of the national struggle across generations, leading first to the emergence of the national movement and ultimately to the outbreak of the glorious National Liberation Revolution.

It is a memory of resistance and a testament to the will of a people who remained steadfast in their claim to freedom and independence.
